Frequently
Asked
Questions

Quick answers to commonly asked questions. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, be sure to give us a call or drop an email.
What is a Free Quote and how does it work?

We gain a broad understanding of your needs and desires, provide a rough timeline for the project, and its overall cost.

If you’re interested in moving forward, we’ll then have further discussions and provide a fine-tuned bid before beginning any work. This price changes, naturally, as you make changes to the project.

Our free estimates usually begin with a phone call. We’ll ask a few questions, and then setup an appointment for you to meet with one of our Project Managers to view your home. We’ll take some measurements while continuing to listen to your vision. If you’re open to it, this is where we love to sprinkle in a few tips, suggestions, and standout features that we’ve picked up along the way.

After our meeting, we’ll take a few days to crunch numbers, talk to suppliers and trade partners on availability, and then get back to you with your free estimate.

Are you licensed and insured?

Absolutely.

We are licensed through Pikes Peak Regional Building Department and carry plenty of insurance for any residential construction project in the region.

We're also an accredited business with an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau.

What areas or towns do you serve?

Alpine Contracting is located in Colorado Springs, CO. We serve this region extensively.

When clients demand us, we have a hard time saying no. We've completed projects throughout the Front Range, Summit County, and Western Slope. However, these jobs are much more costly and difficult to manage due to travel. We prefer to stay local.

What are your hourly rates?

We provide prices based per project, not per hour.

Smaller, additional work falling outside of the scope of our agreement may be billed hourly. This type of work will always be discussed upfront, with you agreeing and signing off before any of this type work begins.

How long do remodels take?

We'd love to give you a straightforward answer. Believe me.

Every home, every project, and each trim and material choice is different. There's no blanket answer.

Before work begins, we'll have a thorough discussion on what you can expect along with our budgeted schedule. To help with your research, check out our article: Getting Prepared For Your Renovation.
